Dalgety's Cafe

Food is amazing. They have a "Scrambled eggs only" option which is cost effective and perfect for someone avoiding bread/grains. Service and staff all lovely and kind. Oh and the coffee slaps - top tier long blacks.

Came here for Saturday lunch with my partner and was very impressed. Service was friendly and fast. Outside seating was great with very little traffic noise. I ordered the wagyu cheeseburger with fries. Loved the chunky fries which had a good crisp to them. Burger was well seasoned and layered. Didn’t fall apart while eating too. Definitely be back and try the breakfast

Had lunch here with my partner and our puppy in the outside area and it was really nice and quiet. Service was friendly and food was very tasty.

I have eaten at Dalgety Cafe many times, and the food and coffee are always excellent. I also pick up Uber orders here often, and I always receive them smoothly, quickly, and without any issues. The owner is very nice and respectful too. I don’t understand why some Uber drivers are leaving negative reviews, as my experience has always been very positive. Sometimes drivers delay arriving at the cafe but in the uber app they start the waiting time while no one is there to pickup the food. And the food gets cold which is unfair to both the cafe and customers. This hurts small businesses and gives a wrong impression. This place does a great job and I definitely recommend it!!!!

I don't typically leave reviews, but the service provided by the gentleman that served us was so genuinely heartfelt that I feel I have to encourage others to visit. My party of six came for breakfast at 11 on a Monday, and we were the only customers at the time. All of the food was beautifully served and absolutely delicious, and the gentleman who served us took great care to ensure the sun was out of our eyes, took wonderful photos of us, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. A wonderful breakfast experience in a beautiful area.

I came on a Monday morning for breakfast and was really impressed. The coffee was very, very good — smooth and strong. I also tried the chocolate croissant and absolutely loved it. I’ve been to Dalgety’s Cafe several times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, and the vibe is super relaxed and welcoming. I’ve brought a few friends here and they all loved it too. Definitely one of my favourite spots.

I recently visited this café and was genuinely impressed. The coffee here is top-notch – rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. You can tell they really care about quality, from the beans they use to the way it’s served. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Friendly staff and quick service added to the experience. Definitely coming back for my daily caffeine fix.
